Mathcounts Program
Mathcounts is more than a competition, it's proof that kids can tackle hard problems and win, no matter where they start. Every round builds the confidence to achieve more, in and out of the classroom.
Programs
LMM students gain technical skills alongside leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities that extend beyond the classroom. Through education, mentorship, and hands-on experience, we are building a future where diversity in STEM is the norm, not the exception.

Biology
A hands-on biology program for late-elementary and early-middle schoolers. Over 5-6 weeks, students explore plant growth, photosynthesis, cell structures, and ecosystems through competitions and experiments, with prizes each session.

Engineering
We equip Title I schools in JCPS with 3D printers and engineering resources for classroom and after-school use. Students learn CAD design and prototyping through long-term, school-led printer programs.

Racing
Students design, build, and race miniature F1-style cars, learning aerodynamics, mechanical engineering, marketing, and budgeting. LMM was the first Kentucky team to qualify for the North America Competition, placing 3rd and winning the Hendricks Fastest Car Award en route to the World Finals in Saudi Arabia. This six-week workshop, run with F1 in Schools North America, brings that experience to more students through CAD design, 3D printing, wind tunnel testing, and race day.
